Overview

This project is my personal portfolio website, designed and developed to present my work, skills, and experience in one place. I created the website from scratch, taking responsibility for the entire process, from the visual design and user experience to the frontend development and final implementation.

The goal was to create a clean, intuitive, and personal website that could effectively communicate my background in Interaction Technology and Design while showcasing selected academic and personal projects.

The portfolio is an ongoing project that I continue to improve as I develop new skills and complete new projects.

Process

Throughout the process, I focused on creating a consistent visual language, responsive layouts, clear navigation, and subtle interactions that make the experience feel engaging without distracting from the content.

I chose to work with Astro because I wanted to learn something new, as I had never worked with it before. I had also heard that Astro was a great tool for creating websites, and it definitely lived up to my expectations.

Due to the timeline, I started the process directly with the implementation in HTML, rather than beginning with a fully developed design in Figma. I wanted to have the website published in time for my master's thesis applications. However, I plan to continue developing the design in Figma and refine the website further.

Ideally, my design process would include a more well-thought-out interaction design phase before moving into implementation. For me, this is an important part of creating meaningful user experience.

The process is still ongoing, and I see the current website as a foundation that I can continue to develop and improve.

Final Result

The final outcome of the project is this website. It’s still under construction and will be something I keep developing and improving over time. ✨
